    Default Does the Size taste different to you??

    You know how there are all kinds of different shapes & sizes of pasta at the store-
    some are Bow-Tie Shaped, some a small slender Cork-Screw shaped, some are big fat Cork-Screw shaped, some are long, flat & skinny, some are clustered into a Pasta 'Nests', ect....

    Assuming you are comparing pastas that are made from the same ingredients-
    WHY do you buy the 'Shapes' or 'Sizes' of Pasta that you do??
    Does the Pasta taste 'different' to you depending on the Size/Shape it is in even though they are both made from the SAME ingredients??

    Pasta is designed in certain ways to hold sauces. Curly, chunky pasta holds a chunky sauce. We like the smaller corkscrews (fusilli).

    yk, that makes SO much sense!!
    I never thought about that before...interesting!!

    We normally buy Bow-Tie Pasta-
    I don't quite know why?!
    other than, they just make me happy....

    I like different ones for the texture, the way they feel in the mouth. Never thought about taste before though.

    They don't taste different to me but the texture does seem different. I had some bow tie pasta this evening with a carbonara sauce. Loved the change in texture!
