Marriage Counselling
So, i saw it mentioned in an anon thread down there... marriage counselling.
Has any experience in this? I've been thinking so much, and i really think DH is too lazy to cheat, so maybe he's just takin his sweet ass time so everything is for sure done when he gets home!
I'm not sure if he'd actually go. i found a list of names of marriage counsellors in Kitchener, but i want to be armed with more info when i bring it up with him. If anyone has been to one and can "yay" or "nay" them, please let me know!

Adam and I hit some pretty damn hard times about 6 months into our relationship, and thought about throwing in the towel, but knew our relationship was worth it. We tried to figure it out ourselves for another 6 months, but couldn't. So we went to see James Morgan at Chestnut Counselling. http://chestnutcounselling.com/
He's awesome!!! Seriously. He was the first counseller I spoke to, that didn't just let me ramble on, without offering some insight or ideas. I had tried K-W counselling, and Catholic Family counselling (Now Mosaic Counselling) I went to both those places for individual, not couples, so I can only speak of my experience with individual therapy. It was not helpful.
James is amazing with couples, he showed us that we both came into the relationship with issues, and they were now affecting it. He gave us tools to deal with our individual issues, and tools for our relationship.
He honestly helped us immensely, and we "graduated" doing pretty well. However when issues arose again, we knew exactly where to go, and went back. We know he's always there if we need him. I actually miss our visits, not just because we got to pick fresh pears off his pear tree, but because he's amazing to talk to, but I'm glad we don't need him right now.
He does work on a sliding scale, and it was reasonable and worth it.

All I can say is it will only work if both parties are willing to accept responsibility and committ to making it work.
Individual counselling for each of you wouldn't hurt either. A safe place to talk before you go into a joint session. It helps gather your feelings and thoughts.Melissa
