    Default Donating new knitted items to NICU?

    Does anyone know if any local NICU accepts donations of knitted items (hats, bunting pods, blankets etc.)?

    My kids and I have recently taken up loom knitting and in this practice phase want to make some useful things from our samplers... I promise you they will be soft, functional and pretty though If this is something needed, we would definitely like to make more.

    Before I contact the hospital (if I can get through) I thought I'd ask the mamas here for their input. Thanks

    the hospital accepts hats, and not just in the NICU........i have been given one with every child!!
