Scentsy began with a simple idea—a safe, wickless alternative to scented candles—and quickly grew into one of the most successful direct selling companies. This wickless concept was born when two stay-at-home moms began selling decorative warmers designed to melt scented wax with the heat of a light bulb instead of a traditional wick and flame.

One of my biggest concerns with using candle products in my home is safety. With 4 young children running around, I hesitate to use candles - the fear of their hair catching the flame, knocking hot wax onto their skin, and the risk of fire are all major concerns for me so in general we just don’t use them aside from birthdays and special occasions. Scentsy eases all of these concerns. It’s flameless, using a small lightbulb to gently heat the wax. The melted wax stays at a much lower temperature than a candle so I’m not worried about the risk of a serious burn.


I was given a stylish black plug in warmer, a bar of wax, as well as a few other sample scents. When Meg asked what kind of scents I was interested in, my only requests were no floral and I wouldn’t mind something for the holidays. Meg sent me a Cinnamon bar, and I couldn’t be happier. The scent is welcoming, and not overwhelming. I often get headaches from scented products, and have had no issues with using the Scentsy warmer in my home.

Here is some information - basically you check out the widget on the homepage, from there you do what it says (like a page, tweet, share, post) and then click that you've done it. I can track who says they've done what - if you win I confirm that you've actually done it and then contact you. The thread is more informative, but thats the jist of it.
