Default Savory Recipes for Christmas Goodie Exchange

    Hi everyone,
We are attending a cookie exchange and E and I are wanting to bring something savory but need some ideas.
Does anyone have any suggestions for something other than a cookie, cake, bars, shortbread etc. Just to switch it up a bit

Well, I'm not sure what you are looking for, but I just made some baking powder biscuits and added cheese and poultry seasoning and they were delicious!!! Or what about some bread sticks (get frozen bread dough, cut into equal pieces, roll them out into "snakes" and bake them into sticks) or dinner rolls or soft pretzels?

Those are great ideas. Thanks will look into them! Just trying to think of something other than the typical cookie recipes.

Cheese crackers, I have not tried this recipe yet but it looks good.
2 sticks of butter (2 cups)
8 oz of sharp cheddar cheese (1 cup)
    2 c flour
    1 tsp salt
    1-1/2 c rice cereal.
Mix butter and cheese, add flour and salt. Stir in cereal. Shape into smalls balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten each ball slightly until about 1/4" thick. Bake at 400 for 12-15 mins.
